I haven't dropped off the planet. I've just been haggling with the publishers. In another life I believe I would have been a corporate lawyer. The book release date has been set! May 1st! I'm not going to lie...I've been perusing the fan sites. I'm really excited about this. So excited...in fact...that I'm going on a random trip to Brazil. I will only be gone for a week and a half, but it's enough to satisfy my adventurous side.

Life is good.

Here's an update on the wonderful life of Emma Reese Taylor:

-Who won three thousand dollars in Vegas. This girl.
-My contract with the publishers still holds strong, even after a little...mishap. Now my agent is working on the marketing plans for the book. Rumors are that readers have set up various fan sites for the sequel. (Psst. I'm googling them now!)
-I'm very excited to finally spend Christmas with my family.
-I want to go ice skating.
-Robert Downey Jr is still a hottie, even though he dresses up like a woman in Sherlock Holmes and is many years older than I.
-And...I'm debating on getting a dog.


So there you are. Mwah!

Thanksgiving was lovely! I ate entirely too much, but it was all delicious. (Thanks Holly!) I'm very thankful for all of my family and friends. I know that is cheesy for me to say, but I feel like a little cheese is necessary on the holidays! Yes, I'm going to go Black Friday shopping. Me plus shopping and sells...I can't say no. Plus, who needs television when you can witness people fighting over items and freaking out about the stupidest things?

And here is some news on my next novel, because I know you guys are just hanging on edge in suspence...I finished it! I love the ending. The big guys are looking it over and I just hope that they like it. If not...I think I'll go on a trip somewhere. I want to be back when Holly has the baby. (Don't worry guys!) But I don't know what I'll do if they actually like the book. We'll take it as we go, as always!

This is my Halloween costume. I'm looking for a decent party to go to...and if I can't find one then I'll just have to make one myself. ;)

God it feels good to get out of the house. I'm officially tonsil-less and well enough to get out and about. The doc was pretty hot...and even with the band on his left hand, I believe I still asked him out on a date. Or to the circus... I say weird things when I'm on pain meds. Sorry to anyone that received crazy texts.

I've been editing my draft. It stresses me out. I need a drink. But I'm excited to think that I'll have another book out there. You all should go out and buy my first one. Okay. Enough salespitches. I'm going shopping!!

Stork Alert!

No not me people, calm down. If you were an active journal-reader than you would know that my biggest bro and my dearest sister-in-law are going to have a baby! I'm so excited. Really. Words cannot describe how happy I am for them.

Something that I'm not excited about is getting my tonsils taken out tomorrow. Bright and early. Me + not being able to talk for a day or two = me going crazy. Maybe I'll have a hot doctor. Who knows.
